The Little Mermaid and Other Stories by H. C. Andersen iPad app is an interactive reinterpretation of the classic children’s stories that uses special effects and makes best us of the iPad’s tilt and shake functionality.

Released by Game Collage in July 2010, the app currently features in ‘New and Noteworthy’ in the App Store. It contains three stories including The Little Mermaid, The Emperor’s New Clothes and The Happy Family and each page is a full graphical presentation of the story alongside a mini-game.

The iPad app contains sixty-five colourful pages and nearly forty interactive objects dotted throughout the stories  – hear the ocean’s waves, touch the corals and much more.
